Comments Name: Helix Nebula - NGC7293 - Distance 650 Light Years -In the Constellation Aquarius. The nebula is a Planetary Nebula . This imagine was taken in my backyard underneath some very strong sodium vapour highway lightning. Main aim for the evening was to improve focusing process using a Bahtinov Focusing Mask and alignment using CCD Drift method. I am very happy with both as the time taken has been reduced and I have achieved a better result. May have to do some more imaging in the back yard ! |
