Comments Name: Helix Nebula - NGC7293 - Distance 690 Light Years -In the Constellation Aquarius. This was the first light image after modifying the 20D removing the internal IR blocking filter. I was late setting up to take this imagine resulting in the target being past Zenith when I started to imagine this target. As a result I only got 42 minutes of exposure before it was to low from the horizon as seeing got too poor. I will need to add some more images later to get the total exposure time up to improve the detail. |
