The Great Orion Nebula -  Distance 1,600 Light Years - Mag 5

The Orion Nebula Messier 42 (M42, NGC 1976) is the brightest starforming, and the brightest diffuse nebula in the sky, and also one of the brightest deepsky objects at all.

As the wind would not allow any long exposures, I took this imagine as the brighter image allowed shorter exposure times to be used to work with windy conditions.

Camera: Canon 20D - Standard
Optics: Mead LX200R
Exposure: 3 x 120 + 3 x 30 Seconds - Total 7.5 minutes
